This project focuses on redesigning the LA Coach website to enhance the user experience (UX) and improve reservation conversion rates.
A recent decline in bookings compared to the previous year has highlighted issues with the site’s information clarity and the intuitiveness of its booking process.
The goal is to create a more user-centered structure and visual design that helps visitors easily find the information they need and complete their reservations seamlessly.

LA Coach, based in Los Angeles, provides charter bus rental services across major cities such as San Francisco and Las Vegas, while also serving a global clientele through its international operations.
BACKGROUND

In March 2024, the number of reservations decreased compared to the same period in 2023. This significant drop suggests that the current website user experience may be negatively affecting conversion rates, highlighting the need for clearer information delivery and a more intuitive booking process.

PLOBLEM DEFINE
01 Confusing Booking Flow
The ‘Book’ button on the main page has a low click rate, and many users still inquire through the ‘Contact’ page. This suggests the button is either overlooked or mistaken as the final step, not the start of booking.
02 Unclear Navigation
The ‘Charter Bus & Minibus Rental’ page gets the most clicks, showing users want service details. However, few use the ‘Services’ page, likely because they don’t realize it links to the same vehicle info shown under ‘Our Vehicle’ on the main page.
03 Visually Heavy Main Page
The gray background takes up too much space and makes the page feel cluttered. Adding a photo or hero image would help users better understand the page at a glance.

So I really have so much positive things to say about this company but ill make this short. The staff were amazing and the driver was the sweetest person ever. I was making an over night trip out of town and from another company my driver canceled on me the night before. I found this company on googand and asked if anything was available and sure enough it was. They were really amazing and the bus was super clean and cozy. Definitely will book all my trips with them from now on.
